This choker features an original 19th-century Georgian paste buckle, repurposed into a wearable jewellery piece. Paste buckles of this type were originally used on shoes, sashes, or belts, with hand-cut glass stones made to resemble diamonds.

The buckle is mounted on a 6 cm black velvet ribbon and finished with a silver-tone ribbon clasp. A 2 mm velvet tie allows for an adjustable fit (30cm minimum - custom size on request).
