An intimate keepsake, preserving intricately woven hair beneath a glazed panel within an elongated gold-tone frame with a finely patterned border. Its restrained form gives it a quiet, sombre presence - a small fragment of someone’s life.
Hairwork could express affection as well as remembrance.
Condition: Visible surface wear and clouding to the glazed panel, partly obscuring the hairwork. Please examine the photographs as part of the description.
