This choker is made from an original Georgian paste buckle (late 18th-early 19th century), repurposed into a wearable piece of jewellery. Paste buckles of this kind were once used on shoes, sashes, or belts, their hand-cut glass stones designed to mimic the brilliance of diamonds.

Mounted on a 6cm black velvet ribbon, finished with a silver tone ribbon clasp and tied with a 2mm velvet ribbon allowing for an adjustable fit.
