Silver Victorian Collar and Locket

Silver Victorian Collar and Locket
Victorian “book-chain” necklace with large engraved locket. Book-chain necklaces originated in the mid to late Victorian era (circa 1860s–1880s) and became a popular jewellery style. The term “book chain” comes from the rectangular, flat links that resemble the spines of books. This fastens at the front with a bolt ring which can be used to hang other charms and lockets.
Sterling Silver.
Good antique condition- very slight age-related indentations to the locket- please examine the pictures as they form part of the description.
