9ct Gold and Citrine Edwardian Spinner Fob

9ct Gold and Citrine Edwardian Spinner Fob
A classic example of early 20th-century design, this Edwardian spinner fob features a warm, faceted citrine set in a simple 9ct gold frame. Dating to around 1901–1910, the piece is designed to rotate freely and was originally intended for use on a gentleman’s watch chain or as a decorative pendant.
Citrine was a popular stone at the time, often associated with clarity and optimism. Its golden hue pairs beautifully with the soft tone of antique gold, making this a subtle but elegant piece of antique jewellery. This piece has particularly beautiful, delicate proportions.
Stone: Natural citrine, faceted on both sides.
Size: 16mm x 15mm, presented on a 45cm, 14ct gold filled chain.
Condition: Excellent antique condition with light surface wear; citrine is secure and rotates smoothly. Please examine the pictures as they form part of the description.
Ideal worn as a pendant or added to a charm necklace.
