This striking locket features a delicate crescent moon set with sparkling paste stones, framed by a pool of glossy black enamel- a material often associated with mourning, mystery, and the gothic. Measuring a good 6 cm × 5 cm, it serves as a talisman of the balance between light and darkness.

Condition: Good antique condition. The enamel is intact and glossy, with only light wear. All paste stones are present and bright. Gilt metal shows the expected softening with age.
