An elegant Edwardian pencil, crafted in EPNS (Electroplated Nickel Silver) and likely intended to be worn on a chatelaine or as a pendant.

Personal implements like this pencil were common features on Edwardian chatelaines. The integrated suspension ring and slender form confirm it was designed for display as well as utility - a wearable tool.

  • Edwardian era (circa 1900–1910)

  • EPNS casing with original suspension loop and lead.

  • Fully working mechanism (spring release).

  • Approx 4.5 x 1cm (including bale) on a 50cm recycled sterling silver chain.
