Late victorian silver sovereign case, on a chunky, choker length Victorian chain. The sovereign case features an engine-turned pattern with a smooth central cartouche, perfect for engraving. 

Originally designed to hold gold sovereigns or half-sovereigns, this case opens with a satisfying snap, revealing the intricate mechanism within. The attached heavy-link chain complements the piece perfectly and can be worn with other pendants or charms.
